Rolle, SWITZERLAND (19 January, 2012) – With just four weeks to go until this year’s much awaited Motor Sport magazine Hall of Fame, taking place on 16 February at London’s Roundhouse, Infiniti is announced as the event’s associate sponsor and official car marque.

As Infiniti aligns itself with Motor Sport’s flagship event, the motor racing community prepare to honour four more of the greatest names in the sport. Among the array of personalities due to be attending the awards ceremony are Red Bull Racing’s Christian Horner, the legendary Sir Stirling Moss and President of the British Racing Drivers’ Club Derek Warwick.

Being held for the third consecutive year, the annual and prestigious awards evening marks the beginning of the motor racing season, with the opening round of the 2012 FIA Formula One World Championship starting exactly a month later in Melbourne, Australia.

“Nissan Motor Company has a long and successful history in racing, said Simon Sproule, Corporate Vice President, Infiniti. “Last season, we were proud to bring Infiniti to Formula One through our partnership with Red Bull Racing. Our support for the Motor Sport Hall of Fame is a natural way for us to honour those who have shown outstanding talent and contributed to the advancement of motor racing,” continued Sproule.
