Infiniti supported an auction evening, organized by the children’s charity, Action Innocence, on June 18 at the Hotel Wilson in Geneva. The event is organized every two years by President-Founder, Valérie Wertheimer, with all money raised donated to the association. This year was even more symbolic because it is 10 years since the association was created.

Infiniti was proud to support this occasion with the donation of a unique Infiniti G37S Coupé signed by Action Innocence’s godfathers, the well-known couple Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas. This G37S Coupe found a new owner among the 400 guests during this very private evening which was presented by the French actress, Virginie Ledoyen. The car sold for 85’000 CHF, well above its true worth.

Many personalities were also present: Mrs Bertarelli, the princess Rawda Al Thani, the ambassador of Turkey, important genevese jewellers, Michel Leeb, the model Afef tronchetti…

Mister Charles Beer, Councellor of State at the Public Direction and Mister Manuel Tornare, Admuinistrative Councellor of Geneva city were also at the Gala evening.

The list of items auctioned found plenty of hand raisers on the night:
- a limited edition Chanel guitar signed by Karl Lagerfeld,
- a visit at the Hotel Bristol in Paris with invitation to the fashion show ‘Chanel Haute couture’ and a private visit of Coco Chanel’s apartments,
- donations from luxury brands Chanel, De Lacour, Piaget, Vacheron Constantin and Cartier
- a photograph of Patrick Demarchelier,
- an engraving numbered and signed by Fabienne Verdier,
- a Harley Davidson from 2003,
- a white Infiniti G37S Coupe with graphite wheels signed by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas.

Established in November 1999, Action Innocence is a nongovernmental organization (ONG) and non-profit-making, recognized as a public utility by Decree of the Council of State of the Canton of Geneva. It aims at preserving the dignity and the integrity of the children on Internet. Action Innocence is working with schools and launching media campaigns to increase public awareness of child pornography on Internet.
