• Dresden Infiniti Centre opens on 3 February 2010
• Innovative architecture and interior design concept plus comprehensive service
• Prices for the five performance models start from 39,900 Euro

Rolle, 2 February 2010. Infiniti, the Japanese premium car brand, continues its German launch with the opening of its first East-German dealership in the Saxonian capital Dresden on 3 February 2010. This event marks another important milestone in Infiniti’s network strategy in Germany.

The ambience and avant-garde interior furnishings of the Dresden Infiniti Centre promise an experience far beyond automotive top design. As with all other 27 Infiniti Centres in Europe, the design and architecture follow Infiniti’s unique  IREDI concept (Infiniti Retail Environment Design Initiative) specifically developed for Infiniti Centres worldwide. Why Dresden was chosen as location of the second Infiniti Centre in Germany (the first was openend in Hamburg), explains Jürgen Schmitz, Regional Director for Infiniti Central Europe: „As a traditional centre for science, art and culture, Dresden has an excellent infrastructure. Dresden represents values with which the Infiniti brand can strongly identify.”

Lobby–Lounge-Gallery concept with 300 sqm sales and service space
Entering the Dresden Infiniti Centre, customers find themselves in a comfortable and luxurious Lounge atmosphere. On about 300 sqm renowned artists and designers -  including the acclaimed furniture designer Walter Knoll – created an ambience that feels more akin to an exclusive boutique hotel. The avant-garde paintings are originals specifically created for Infiniti by the Swiss artist Alexia L.

Also unique to Infiniti is the I-View concept: a state-of-the-art 57-inch HD screen and interactive touchscreen configuration displays support the sales talks through  exact representations of the customers’ preferred model configurations. In the spacious Gallery showroom all five models of the Infiniti range including special trim variants are on display. Of course all models are available for customer test drives.

Innovative „Total Ownership Experience˝

The exterior and interior design of the Infiniti Centres combines with an equally unique and individual product-related service. Geared to the high demands of the  Infiniti customers in line with Infiniti’s exclusive standards, the „Total Ownership Experience” programme translates Infiniti’s brand philosophy into a unique ownership experience with style, personality and service as key elements.

Infiniti has designed the „Total Ownership Experience” as a highly sophisticated customer service and care programme. „We believe that individual customer care and an extensive service are keys to forming an emotional bond between Infiniti and its customers. The benefits offered to customers both in Germany and in Europe include a VIP Service with free collection and delivery of customer cars for annual inspections within a distance of 250 km from the Centres, and a personalised Touring Assistance that applies all over Europe even when customers are travelling in a non-Infiniti vehicle,” explains Reinhard Döhner, the manager of the Dresden Infiniti Centre. Infiniti plans to extend its German network to 8-10 Centres by late 2011.

„Being one of the first to open an Infiniti Centre in Germany is both a challenge and an honour”, says Michael Hesse, the managing director of the Dresden Infiniti Centre. „With our team we can offer a first-class customer service. We want to be part of our customers’ lifestyle, with regard to the car and also in terms of the ’Total Ownership Experience’ and the Infiniti philosopy.˝

Infiniti’s launch line-up for Germany includes a range of attractive performance models that have been especially re-designed and re-engineered to match European tastes: with the G37 sedan, coupe and convertible, the EX37 crossover coupe and the FX37 plus FX50S crossovers a total of five models in 13 trim variants will be available. During 2010 V6 performance Diesel variants for the FX and EX will become available. Later in 2010 the M luxury sedan will complete the European line-up.
